Itinerary

When the weather is clear, the journey to Paro is among the most breathtaking mountain flights, providing vistas of the Himalayan peaks. You will be greeted by your knowledgeable guide, private driver, and car when you arrive in Paro. They will accompany you on your trip, highlighting Bhutan's amazing location. We advise going directly to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan; it's a little over an hour's drive away. Our tour of the capital will begin at the National Memorial Chorten and proceed to the King's office, or Tashichhodzong. But the visits will be customized based on your preferences.

We'll take a city tour of Thimphu in the morning of the second day, which will include stops to the National Institute of Traditional Medicine, the National Library, and the Art School of Bhutan. We shall carry on our excursion to Thimphu in the afternoon. Usually, we recommend taking a stroll to either the Buddha Point (Kuenselphodrang) or the other tiny villages in Thimphu.

We're going to begin our trek to Gangtey this morning. Before arriving at the Phobjikha Valley and Pelela Pass, we will make a halt at the picturesque DochuLa Pass. We're going to visit the charming village of Gangtey in the afternoon.

You will continue exploring this lovely valley today by finding out more about the black-necked crane, a unique seasonal resident. We will explore the Gangtey Nature Trail in the afternoon and then play archery with the locals.

After arriving in Punakha, we will wander through the Valley to the Mad Man's temple, Chimi Lhakhang, and then be invited to a farm house for a traditional butter tea.

We'll begin with a hike to the magnificent Khamsun Yuelley Temple, which the Queens recently erected. This location offers a breathtaking view of the Moo Chhu River and the Punakha Valley. We will explore Punakha, the former administrative and religious hub of Bhutan, throughout the afternoon. Restored to its former glory, the structure exuded original splendor in recent times.

We will return to Paro by road early on the sixth day. We'll have lunch at one of Thimphu's most famous restaurants before heading to the post office to pick up a personalized stamp. Upon reaching Paro, we will embark on a brief city tour that encompasses the Paro Dzong and the watchtower, which are currently housed in the National Museum.

The Tigers' Nest, a well-known temple in Bhutan situated 900 meters above the Paro Valley, is visited on the sixth day. When you get back to Paro, you'll have to decide whether to take a hot stone bath to unwind your muscles or play archery with the locals.

We'll drive to the airport this morning so you can catch your flight out. We'll pause along the route to give you one more look at Bhutan. It will be suggested that you plant a tree to offset the carbon emissions from your travels.
