Arrival at Chiang Mai International Airport. You will be warmly welcomed by your English Speaking Tour Guide and transfer to your hotel. Traditional Khantoke dinner show.

Depart Chiang Mai and drive into the cool highlands of Doi Inthanon National Park. Begin with a visit to Wachirathan Waterfall, one of the park’s most impressive cascades, where the mist and lush surroundings create a refreshing start to the day. Continue to Sirithan Waterfall, a quieter spot ideal for photos and appreciating the natural beauty. Travel to the Twin Royal Pagodas, built in honor of the King and Queen of Thailand. Surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens, this site offers sweeping panoramic views of the valleys and mountains. Guests can enjoy the serene atmosphere while learning about the cultural significance of these monuments. Enjoy a Thai lunch at a local restaurant within the park area, featuring regional specialties and fresh ingredients. Walk along the Ang Ka Nature Trail, a short but enchanting boardwalk through montane forest rich with mosses, ferns, orchids, and birdlife. This trail highlights the unique ecosystem found only at high elevations in Thailand. Afterwards, visit a hill tribe village, where guests can observe traditional crafts, textiles, and daily life, gaining insight into the cultural heritage of the Karen and Hmong communities. Conclude the day with a drive to the summit of Doi Inthanon, Thailand’s highest point at 2,565 meters above sea level. The cool climate and peaceful surroundings make this a memorable finale, with a chance to reflect on the day’s blend of natural wonders and cultural encounters. Return to Chiang Mai in the evening, enriched by a full day of exploration that combines waterfalls, gardens, forests, and cultural immersion.

07:45 or 08:30 pick up from your Chiang Mai hotel / guesthouse (outside middle ring road additional charges will apply). Upon arrival at the Park (1 hour drive from Chiang Mai), change clothes into beautiful uniforms provided. Introductory discussion. Feed, observe and interact with our elephants. Walk with the elephants through beautiful scenery with plenty of wonderful photo opportunities. Walk down the hillside to our elephants bathing area. Enjoy bathing and brushing them in their very own pool. Say farewell to your new elephant and Mahout friends after a memorable experience. Take a shower, change your clothes and enjoy a delicious home cooked lunch prepared especially for you at Park. Return back to your accommodation at 14:00.

After breakfast at your hotel, you will travel to Chiang Rai. On the way, stop at Mae Kachan hot spring to refresh and relax. Continue to Chiang Rai, visit Wat Rong Khun (White temple) and Wat Rong Suea Ten Temple (Blue temple). Lunch at local restaurant. Transfer to your hotel and check in. In the evening visit Chiang Rai's clock tower and night market. Return to your hotel.

08:00 AM – Depart from your Chiang Rai hotel with your guide and drive north through scenic countryside. Stop at Thailand’s northernmost town, Mae Sai, bordering Myanmar. Explore the bustling local market where Thai, Burmese, and Chinese traders exchange goods. Continue to the legendary Golden Triangle, where Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar meet at the confluence of the Mekong River. Enjoy panoramic views and learn about the region’s history of opium trade. Gain insight into the fascinating past of the Golden Triangle through exhibits on opium cultivation, trade routes, and its impact on local communities. Lunch by the Mekong River Savor a traditional Thai lunch at a riverside restaurant with views of Laos across the water. Boat Ride on the Mekong (Optional) Embark on a short boat trip along the Mekong River, crossing to a Lao riverside village (passport required for entry). Visit an authentic hill tribe village near Chiang Rai. Meet Akha, Yao, or Lahu communities and experience their distinct traditions, handicrafts, and way of life. Learn about tribal customs, admire traditional dress, and discover handmade crafts unique to each group. Return to Chiang Rai.

This morning, depart from your hotel in Chiang Rai for the scenic drive south toward Chiang Mai. Along the way, enjoy views of lush mountains, rural villages, and fertile valleys that showcase Northern Thailand’s natural beauty. En route, stop at Chiang Dao Cave, one of the region’s most impressive limestone cave complexes. Explore the illuminated chambers filled with stalactites and stalagmites, and admire the serene atmosphere enhanced by Buddhist shrines tucked within the cavern. Your guide will share stories of local legends and the cave’s spiritual significance, making this visit both cultural and adventurous. After the visit, continue the journey through picturesque landscapes until reaching Chiang Mai. Upon arrival, transfer directly to your hotel for check-in and relaxation.

08:30 AM: Meet your guide at the hotel and begin the day with a leisurely walk through Chiang Mai’s historic Old Town. Visit the Three Kings Monument, a symbol of the city’s founding fathers. Explore Wat Chedi Luang, an impressive temple with a towering ruined chedi dating back to the 14th century. Continue to Wat Phra Singh, one of Chiang Mai’s most revered temples, known for its exquisite Lanna-style architecture and sacred Buddha image. Stroll along charming lanes lined with teak houses, small cafés, and local markets, gaining insight into the daily life of Chiang Mai residents. Enjoy a traditional northern Thai meal at a local restaurant, featuring specialties such as khao soi (curried noodle soup) and sai ua (herbal sausage). Drive up the winding mountain road to Doi Suthep, Chiang Mai’s most iconic temple perched high above the city. Climb the grand staircase flanked by mythical Naga serpents or take the funicular to reach the temple grounds. Explore Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, adorned with golden chedis, intricate murals, and a sacred relic of the Buddha. From the terrace, enjoy panoramic views over Chiang Mai and the surrounding valley. Return to the hotel around 5:30 PM, with the evening free at leisure.
