You'll land at Denpasar airport and get transferred to your hotel in Canggu. After settling in, the day is yours to relax by the pool or head to the beach if you feel like it. Later this evening, join the group for a rooftop dinner and drinks where you'll meet everyone on the tour.
You'll start by heading to Tanah Lot, where the temple sits out on a dramatic rocky outcrop in the ocean. It's one of Bali's most iconic spots, and you'll see why when you get there. From there, you'll make your way to Taman Ayun, the Royal Temple, to experience more of the island's spiritual side. Later in the afternoon, head over to one of Canggu's beaches to catch the sunset. After the sun goes down, you'll grab dinner and explore the nightlife in town.
This morning you'll head to Kuta Beach for a surf lesson with local instructors who know how to get beginners up on a board quickly. After spending time in the water, you'll head back to Canggu to either kick back or wander around the area for a bit. Later you'll settle in at a spot where you can watch the sunset with a cocktail while you swap stories about your time on the waves.
You're traveling inland to Ubud, and along the way you'll stop at Tegenungan waterfall to cool off and take a break. Once you arrive in Ubud, there's time to walk around town and check out the open-air market where you'll find locals shopping for fresh produce and handmade crafts. The rice paddies and temples scattered around the area give the town its distinctive character, and there are monkeys hanging around too.
Start early and head to the local markets outside central Ubud to hunt for the freshest ingredients you can find. Then you'll join a cooking class with a Balinese family where you'll prepare a meal together and learn how things are done. After lunch, you'll visit the sacred monkey forest and spend time with the playful monkeys that live there. Later you'll return for dinner with the rest of your group.
You'll trek through the rice terraces around Ubud, and there's fresh coconut water to sip while you walk and learn about how these agricultural areas work. Around lunch time, head to Kintamani where you'll eat with views of the active Mt. Batur volcano in the distance. After that, you can either relax by the pool back at your accommodation or spend the afternoon exploring the local markets at your own pace.
Today you're traveling to Gili Trawangan island by minibus and ferry, and once you arrive you'll check into your tropical accommodation right in the center of the island. The afternoon is yours to either relax by the pool with a beer or wander out to one of the beaches surrounding the island. Later you'll catch the sunset on the beach, then head out for dinner and explore the beachside bars where the nightlife happens.
You'll spend the day on a snorkeling adventure around Gili Trawangan and Gili Meno, checking out some of Indonesia's best underwater areas. There's plenty of jumping off the boat, discovering underwater statues, and seeing the marine life around you. By evening you'll head back to Gili Trawangan and watch the sunset from the beach with a beer in hand.
Rent a bike and cycle around Gili Trawangan to see different beaches and activities across the island. Trek up to the island's main viewpoint hill and check out the remains of a WWII bunker. Catch one final sunset before gathering for a farewell dinner and celebration party with the group.
Check out of your accommodation and get help arranging your next steps, whether that's heading to another island or getting to the airport. Your group leader can sort out all the details and help make sure you get where you need to go.
